Power BI is a business analytics service provided by Microsoft. It provides interactive visualizations with self-service business intelligence capabilities, where end users can create reports and dashboards by themselves, without having to depend on information technology staff or database administrators.
User can view dashboards and reports created by Power BI on thier web browser or dedicated mobile apps. It can be embedded with Dynamics 365 Business Central so that users manage only one system.

Connecting with various data sources
PowerBI provides over 100 connections with cloud-services and applications by default. It enables users creating reports of multiple data sources with easy operations such as creating a graph based on prospective revenue in CRM and actual revenue in ERP. Not only CSV and Excel, Power BI supports data connections via web service such as OData and data collection from web pages (html files).
Integration with Microsoft Dynamics by default
Microsoft Dynamics series such as Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (former Dynamics AX) and Dynamics NAV are pre-equippted with standard dashboards so that users can start a high level data analysis from the beginning.
