Pacific Business Consulting, Inc. releases “NAV-MAINTENANCE”,
an ERP solution for maintenance businesses


Pacific Business Consulting, Inc. (PBC) announces releasing “NAV-MAINTENANCE”, an ERP solution for maintenance businesses. PBC will start to sell the product from January 2010.

“NAV-MAINTENANCE” is a template developed by PBC based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Japanese version. With “NAV-MAINTENANCE”, system can automatically evaluate whether the machine is in the warranty period or not, check and record the repair history and parts replace history. In addition, NAV-MAINTENANCE can manage all data related to maintenance services, including service contract, price information on resources and spare parts, invoicing and other financial information. Functions necessary for Japanese business practices are also included in the package such as equipment management for rental and lending, maintenance history inquiry, documents and reports needed for services.

To support maintenance business, CRM solution is often used. CRM can improve resource management and communication with customers such as engineer assignment, work reporting and status control. However, users need to implement other systems or use Excel to monitor history of machines and invoicing data. NAV-MAINTENANCE offer integrated management for maintenance business from resource management to parts and machine management, contract management, and financial management. In addition, headquarters can collect appropriate information from all subsidiaries in the world if you implement NAV-MAINTENANCE as a global system. The gathered information can be utilized to develop new products.
